MISSION

NURTURING CURIOSITY AND LIFELONG LEARNING

At Little Unicorn, my goal is to transform the traditional sequence of learning. I believe education must prioritize building a strong, unshakable foundation before layering on complex skills. More than just academic knowledge, I emphasize cultivating a strong core in every learner: passion and curiosity. Passion drives engagement and perseverance, while curiosity fuels the desire to explore and understand the world. By nurturing these intrinsic qualities first, we create resilient, self-motivated learners who are not only prepared to absorb information but are also excited to embark on a lifelong journey of discovery. Little Unicorn is dedicated to this philosophy, ensuring that every educational step strengthens the roots from which future growth will flourish.

WHY CHOOSE Little Unicorn?

Little Unicorn Educational Center stands out for its commitment to providing quality education and holistic development for children. Here's why parents choose me:

Unique, Dual-System Insight into Education

My 11 years in ABA (special education) combined with 10 years teaching English (general education) gives her a rare and powerful perspective. She doesn’t just see a student’s challenges; she sees the whole learner.

A Foundation-First Philosophy That Builds Lifelong Learners

I don't just teach subjects; we build the core skills for learning itself. My primary focus is on igniting curiosity and passion, using positive reinforcement to make learning engaging. By strengthening these foundational pillars first, I ensure your child doesn't just memorize information but becomes a confident, self-motivated learner equipped for any academic or personal challenge.

Truly Individualized Learning, Even in a Group Setting.

I don't teach to the "middle." Using Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles, I individualize the level of prompting for each student within my small-group classes. This means your child receives the precise amount of support they need to succeed—never too little that they feel lost, and never too much that they become dependent. Whether they need a subtle hint or direct guidance, I adapt in real-time to their ability, ensuring confident, independent progress at their own pace.
